Thon Hotel Alesund

I felt at home in this exceptionally comfortable hotel. I enjoyed to sit in the restaurant. The staff were amicable and kind throughout my visit. The location was magnificent, just a short stroll away from Aalesunds Museum.

There were an electric kettle, a fridge, and glassware in the functional and incredibly comfortable room. The restaurant had excellent meals for breakfast. The staff were amiable and kind people.

It was a fantastic stay! The location right by the water provided stunning views, which made breakfast extra special. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was attentive and friendly, which added to our enjoyable experience. The seating in common areas felt a bit limited during peak times, which could be improved.

Thon Hotel Alesund features inviting decor and comfortable common areas. The amazing views over the fjord from the breakfast room added greatly to my overall experience.

The views from this hotel are striking, especially during sunset when the surrounding landscape lights up with color. The decor offers a warm ambiance.

Parking here is a real challenge. There are very few spaces available, and they are tight, especially if you have a larger vehicle. One night, we tried to dine in the restaurant, but it was either reserved for a tour group or closed for the day, leaving us disappointed. The Aperol Spritz we ordered was nothing like we expected. It tasted more like a cheap soda than the classic cocktail.

The breakfast offered a variety of fresh options, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I appreciated the comfortable room and fine views of the sea.

The views from my room were nice, showcasing the serene harbor and charming islands just beyond. Breakfast was a good feast, with everything from fresh seafood to fluffy croissants, satisfying every craving. Plus, the cozy decor and friendly environment made me feel right at home 🌊✨

Pleasant reception, modern room, with the staff kindly upgrading us for my husband's birthday and the hotel's central location making it easy to explore nearby bars and restaurants while enjoying a quiet night's sleep.
